There's a special kind of optimism in buying a domain for a product that currently exists as a paragraph in the notes.
The checkout is usually the easiest part.
Solo founder from Germany here ππ»
Would love to connect with other founders, builders and people who enjoy turning ideas into actual products.
I am currently working on an accountability app, a tool for GitHub maintainers and my own self-hosted WorkOS to keep everything under control π
Trying to share more of the journey here instead of just disappearing into my projects for weeks.
What are you working on these days?
Quick break from work for a round of boxing π₯
Gotta say this is quickly becoming my favorite way to switch off.
Got a good workout in, cleared my head and even caught some sunshine afterwards.
Now back to the Mac, the projects and the million tabs I left open π
Anyone else finds that a workout in the middle of the day is sometimes exactly what you need to get your brain working again?
@JohanesSurya And thats probably the fastest was to lose their trust.. π Bugs happen.. it's just important to find a good balance between shipping early and making sure users have a good experience.
Some products are so good at explaining what they do that I almost forget I haven't seen them actually do it yet.
Marketing has become very convincing. Maybe a little too convincing. What do you think?
@Bjoern_Hev Sounds like we're tackling a lot of the same problems.. π Would be great to compare notes, learn and see how we're each approaching things. I'll drop you a DM!
Exactly.. overpromising is a big part of it. AI makes it so easy to build something that looks finished.. but looking finished and actually being reliable are two very different things.. π
Nothing wrong with early users finding bugs, but there's a difference between getting feedback and letting customers do your QA.
Agreed, the signal has to come from actual potential users.. my only concern with the seven day limit is that sometimes reaching the right people takes longer than building the thing itself.. π
But I definitely like the idea of setting a deadline instead of endlessly polishing something nobody asked for.
Quick update on what I've been working on lately, since most of my posts have been random thoughts rather than build updates.
With xoobz, I'm focused on improving some technical aspects and moving away from Replit.
With RepoPolicyScore I'm working on the Pro version, using maintainer feedback to figure out which features would actually be worth paying for.
Alongside both, I am researching and experimenting with new product ideas to see which ones have real potential.
Different projects, different stages but all have the same goal: Building products that can stand on their own.
The biggest challenge?
Figuring out which ideas deserve my time and which ones should stay in the ever-growing "maybe-someday" pile.
That pile is getting dangerously large.. π
@almokhtar_al I like the idea of timeboxing experiments. I could definitely use a bit more discipline there π
Seven days feels pretty tight though.. especially when you're trying to validate demand. What kind of signal are you looking for before deciding whether to continue?
Happy Thursday! π Yes, yesterday was actually pretty productive, managed to make some good progress on my projects.
What you are building sounds pretty close to what I'm trying to achieve with my own "WorkOS". Bringing everything together so you're not constantly jumping between tools and can focus on getting things done.
I'd love to hear about how you're approaching this, if you are up for sharing. Happy to exchange ideas and share what I've been building on my end too. π
Solo founder from Germany here.. ππ» Building SaaS products, experimenting with AI Agents and working on my own WorkOS to keep all moving parts under control.
Also trying to get better at sharing what Iβm building instead of disappearing into another project for weeks π
Happy to connect! What are you working on these days?

Happy to connect..! What are you working on?
Looking for some brutally honest maintainer feedback on https://t.co/lYo8cxPncd
If you maintain a public GitHub repo, give the free scanner a try.
I'd love to know where it gets things wrong, which recommendations you would actually use and what's missing.
And if the result deserves a proper roast I am all ears.
Just bring the receipts. π
Sounds like you are getting really close! π Fingers crossed the final tests of smoothly and you can submit today!
Things are moving here too. I'm currently working on the technical side of xoobz, improving stability, cleaning up infrastructure and preparing the move away from Replit to a setup I have more control over.
Also working on RepoPolicyScore based on maintainer feedback and building my own WorkOS to coordinate my AI Agents, Projects and keep everything running without constantly having to check on things myself.
Plenty going on and as usual the technical stuff takes longer than expected.. π
@_RoadTo10M@X 100+ apps since the first iPhone.. thats quite a journey! π Must be interesting to see how much the development process changed with AI.
Are you mostly using AI to speed up development or experimenting with AI features inside your apps?
Been doing a lot of competitor research for new product ideas lately.
I still can't decide whats more concerning:
Finding nobody doing it or finding 10 companies already selling it.
How do you think about that?
