@TheOneLanceB Hey Lance, if your thesis about the market is correct. Petrochem companies is an area where the market has overlooked recently. Companied like $LYB, $CE, $DOW will be able to capitalize on higher prices for plastics as European and Asian producers face feedstock disruptions.
@ZaStocks Honestly their release of Panther Lake chips this year has really put them back on the map. Their laptop CPUs have always fell behind AMD. But they are knocking it out of the park with the Panther Lakes this year.
Q1 just about to close. Looking back, this was probably the best contributor to my performance. Having the right size allowed me to stay put through out this whole pull back.
On the other hand, I sized up on my petrochem positions to 20% weight.

The most expensive misread in markets right here is thinking AI kills software. I think it gets absorbed by it which is a completely different trade.
Spent several weeks on this post and built a 15 name basket around the idea.

$CE the laggard of the chemical industry. After a good pull back, this looks ready to break out of the round bottom.
Looking forward to closing the month above $60.
$LYB finally starting to break above the $70 major resistance. This $70 level held the low from 2014 - 2019. Would like to see weekly close above $70 here.
Would like to see us consolidate here and close the month above $70.
All the industrial chemical equities are starting to come out of their bases. $CE $LYB $BAK $DOW.
Seems like no one is paying attention as the industry is slowly coming out of cyclical trough.

I wrote a post called Size Matters.
300,000 of you saw the tweet. And I gathered a lot of you clearly weren’t clicking a link with that title.
So here’s the thread version of why size is more important than entry.

Monthly Chart on $MT (ArcelorMittal), the largest steel producer in the world. Broke out of a decade long base going back to 2015.
This has been a quiet mover along with $STLD and $NUE.
@epictrades1 I've been long since $29. I feel like some consolidation pull back would be nice to size up. You think this could make a trip back to the $70s?
