Don’t necessarily think we need to avoid or sell a player we like as a talent because of a short-term situation with a RB on the back nine of his career
The Saints led the NFL in plays per game in 2025
+ 1/2 year under Shough and Moore’s belt
+ Tyson to the offense
If you truly believe in Etienne as a talent, I don’t see how a short-term obstacle should completely push you away
It’s not like Kamara is still playing at the level of a Derrick Henry on the back end of his career
Talent > temporary situation in Dynasty
Sports require great TEAMs to win championships
I don’t know why fans in every sport insist on sports being 1 star dominant (NFL QBs)
Any given night Towns, Brunson, or Bridges could win you a game. They are not great because of JUST Brunson or KAT. They are great because ANY one of them can take over & have the others back on any given night
If Christian Watson can just stay HEALTHY
He's got top 20 upside written all over him!!!!!!
I can see a 2025 Jameson Williams season written all over him with a - 1,100+ yards and 7/8+ TD.
20+ carries in only 6 of his 49 career games
Jahmyr Gibbs may dethrone the consensus Dynasty RB1 after 2026
Still remember when Gibbs and Achane were “too small” to people in 2023
Workhorses in 2026 ✅
I’d be worried if this were 2019 Lamar Jackson
With how far Lamar has come as a passer, his rushing production feels more like a bonus than a requirement at this point
The shift from Greg Roman to Todd Monken helped unlock another level of his game. Lamar is throwing more, winning more from the pocket, and has proven he can carry an offense without relying on 1,000 rushing yards. His passing production reached historic levels in 2024, including over 4,000 passing yards and 41 TDs
(Now add in Ben Johnson’s disciple for 2026)
So when people point to declining rushing volume, I see it as evolution rather than decline
For dynasty purposes, that’s encouraging. He’s becoming less dependent on athleticism and more dependent on traits that age well
And if anyone thinks the speed or twitch is gone, go watch what he did to the best defense in the league on Christmas. The ability is still there when he decides to use it
To me, Lamar’s 2025 injuries had far more to do with the situation around him than some age-related drop-off. He’s evolved into an elite passer who still happens to be the most dangerous rushing QB in the history of football
1st Round Underclassmen WRs that are GOATA movers or flashed GOATA hallmarks since 2013:
MAKAI LEMON
KC CONCEPCION
Jaxon Smith-Njigba
Jaylen Waddle
Justin Jefferson
CeeDee Lamb
H̵e̵n̵r̵y̵ R̵u̵g̵g̵s̵
DJ Moore
Odell Beckham
DeAndre Hopkins
Pretty good metric.
Declan Doyle on Lamar Jackson:
"He's the twitchiest athlete I've ever seen on the field. ... The ball just jumps out of his hands when you're watching him. He's a very arm talented thrower. ... That's right on par with just about anybody in the world."
