5 things I look for before buying a card 🧵

1️⃣ Past sales
Not asking price.
Not comps from hype week.
Real sales.

2️⃣ How much room does the player have to grow?
If they’re already priced like a superstar… where’s the upside?

3️⃣ MVP potential? (next 3 years)
True ceiling matters.
If they can’t realistically win one, I’m cautious.

4️⃣ Does the hobby like them as a person?
Personality, marketability, story — this stuff matters more than people admit.

5️⃣ Cheapest BIN available
Price is usually higher than the card is worth, but gives me an idea of how cheap I can acquire one worst case scenario.
