Taunton Town is delighted to announce that goalkeeper Frankie Phillips has joined the Peacocks on a season-long loan from Exeter City Football Club, and will go straight into this evening's squad to face Tavistock.
Phillips, son of former EFL goalkeeper and 2023 Peacocks goalkeeping coach Steve Phillips, will look to follow in his father’s footsteps as he rises through the leagues, with his next step here at Wordsworth Drive. The young shot-stopper reached the Southern League Division One South play-off final in the 2024–25 season and was voted Supporters’ Player of the Season after keeping a remarkable 21 clean sheets across the campaign.
Phillips signed a contract extension with the Grecians in May, and we look forward to seeing him in action for the Peacocks.

Monty Burgess ✍️
Another lad who’s been seen around this season and already with us
🗣️ “I coached Monty back at u18 a few years back and his commitment and drive was second to none, we tried to convince him to jump up last year but this year he was ready!”

Hi Sports teams
I run the Ben Saunders Foundation in memory of my son, we are based in Bath and we provide holidays for young people with cancer.
Over 40 local teams are now displaying our banners / boards in their ground.
Would you like to put one on display?
Obviously we don’t pay but local football is a massive part of our charity and nearly all the local teams have displayed the banners for a couple of years now including Frome, Melksham, Westbury, Bradford, Welton, Radstock and Odd Down just to name a few, the support we get is humbling ⚽️🙏
If someone would like to collect from near the Bath area that would be wonderful. We have about 10 banners still available.
Many thanks
Tom Saunders

Fin Haines ✍️
HUGE return to BA4 🐶
🗣️ “This is a huge coup for us at the club, securing Fin for the season was always an aim l, he’s capable of step 3/4 so this has sent a huge buzz through the squad and the club as a whole, we can’t wait to see him back at the mallet”
