I saw this ad on X, booked a call, and my PF got settled.”
4 years of EPFO error messages. Wrong employment dates. Employer corrections. Even a portal outage.
FinRight’s experts untangled all of it.
If you’re seeing this, it’s your chance to get your EPF Settled!
@rohanrfelix Yes, you can request EPFO to calculate and credit any eligible retrospective interest on your PF account from 2015. Interest eligibility depends on the account status and applicable EPFO rules.
After Transferring your PF account
PF claim: “under process” for 45 days.
EPFO is supposed to settle claims within 20 days. Past that, you can escalate.
Most people just keep waiting.
Claim stuck beyond 20 days? Talk to a PF expert
I understand your concern, sir. Unfortunately, the lack of clear communication from EPFO regarding claim rejections can be frustrating, especially when repeated emails and grievances go unanswered. You can share the rejection details and the grievance reference number with us via DM, and our team at FinRight will try to guide you on the possible next steps.
Wonder why your PF withdrawal got rejected?
EPFO shows 2 reasons.
Most people focus on the 2nd like “Father’s name differs” or “Claim settled.”
But the real issue is the 1st reason. Fix that, and it goes through.
👉 Skip the back-and-forth. Book a free call.
You can raise a Joint Declaration (JD) request and ask your employer to approve it. If they refuse to approve it, you can raise a grievance with EPFO, attaching all relevant proof, including screenshots of your email requests to the employer. This will help escalate the matter and get it addressed.

Every PF claim has a story.
A name that doesn’t match. A missing exit date. Two UANs. An old employer who won’t reply.

You switched jobs. Your PF didn’t follow you.
Every unmerged account counts as a separate stint of service, and stints under 5 years mean TDS when you withdraw.
Merging takes 10 minutes. Here’s how, in 5 steps.

Step 4: Choose who approves it, then submit (The employer-selection step has largely been removed from the EPFO PF transfer process.)
→ Pick your current or previous employer to attest → Submit with Aadhaar OTP
Now: The EPFO source office approves the transfer of the old PF balance.
@Dishu23061992@epfovashi@officialepfo@nsitharaman Did you raise grievance?
You can try something grievance at pg portal it tends to get resolved faster.
Also a transfer request usually take 45 day to get settled would request you to wait.
@ATHIest47 For balance enquiries, EPFO lists missed call 9966044425 and SMS 'EPFOHO UAN ENG' to 7738299899 from your registered mobile, subject to eligibility. These don't replace claim services. If you want to withdraw or transfer we can assist you with the same: https://t.co/cK1nuVLPV3
@manoj_216 Worth separating the contribution from the interest. Since FY 2021-22, only interest on your own PF contributions above Rs 2.5 lakh a year is taxable - Rs 5 lakh where there's no employer contribution. It isn't a tax on the entire PF balance.
@NDTVProfit Changing jobs doesn't always move your old PF automatically - the gap surfaces when you need to withdraw. checkMyPF by FinRight tracks every old account, service history and KYC in one place: https://t.co/Ae9xsB1ehC Your money should be findable before you need it.
@GarryGod007 Hey, it usually take 3 working days so is your claim was approved on Friday it should get credited byTuesday if not you should raise grievcance.

Shantanu's records had three problems at once: missing Annexure K, EPS discrepancies and ECR errors. Each needed a different fix, in the right order. What he wanted most was someone to tell him what came next at every stage. Samruddhi stayed with him through each one, explaining and following up until it was sorted.
Ritika had already tried her transfer on her own, and it was rejected more than once. By the time she reached us on a friend’s recommendation, she had been at it for a long time. Kunal’s first job was finding exactly where it was stuck. Then came the slow part: fixing things in sequence, plus on-ground follow-ups with the EPFO office when the system alone wasn’t moving. It took months, and she stayed patient through all of it.
Satya is a Chartered Accountant, so understanding PF was never his problem. The problem was time. Chasing PF paperwork means calls, follow-ups and weeks of waiting, and he wanted all of that off his plate. Sometimes knowing how something works matters less than having the time and energy to see it through. Mamta took it on and handled every step until his issues were cleared and his withdrawal could move forward.
Abdul's Case came down to persistence. It didn’t move the first time, or the second, so we kept following up. Tanisha stayed on it and kept him informed at every step until it was done.
Different problems, different timelines, different roadblocks. What they shared was rejections we had to understand before we could fix them, weeks when there was no update to give, and EPFO follow-ups that never show up on a status tracker.
None of it works without trust from the other side. Thank you all, for believing in us when progress was slow, and for sharing your stories.
Samruddhi Parulekar, Kunal, Mamta Punnalla and Tanisha: these reviews are about your work.
And we’ll keep doing this, one PF case at a time.
