@bmay This is wonderful! I always perk up when I see there's sign language interpreters because I just adore how they translate tone visually into body language. So entertaining!

Our financial counselling service is free, confidential and independent. It is a not-for-profit, community-based service available to people in Australia experiencing financial difficulty or who have problems with debt.
Here's a snippet of the media stories that our helpline details have been mentioned in this year. There have been lots over radio and TV too! 🤩
We're so happy to see outlets including our info. People need to know where to go for free advice to help them tackle their debts.
👀 In case you missed it — ACCAN was on @9NewsAUS last week!
For too long, Australia’s emergency call system has relied on telcos to act in the public’s interest. A Triple Zero Custodian will add a crucial layer of safety with greater powers and opportunity to intervene.
ACCAN will continue to advocate for a more robust Triple Zero system. The new Custodian must have strong powers and be able to apply substantial fines when telcos break the rules.
