@NeedsMustBeFed@g__j If a manual retry is possible (after the customer notices, and emails customer support), there is no reason in 2026 this can't be automated.
@g__j Why isn't retry of SMETS2 meter data automated? Huge waste of customers/staff time, and results in countless billing issues!
Automatic retry with backoff isn't rocket science. Alternatively, pull any gaps prior to billing date. I just don't understand why don't do either?
@tomasmcguinness@MixergyLtd@MixergyJon I need to see if i can find the installation instructions, can't remember if this was an add-on or replaces the existing Internet connected controller.
@tomasmcguinness@MixergyLtd No, but the controller i have in the garage but never fitted does. Cloud API isnt local and i don't like that, but it is easier. Reality though is Mixergy runs itself well enough, what are you wanting to do via API?
@tomasmcguinness@MixergyLtd I got a different controller with modbus support. Never hooked it up though, as AFAIR it means no app support and its completely local.
@W922198W@AndyBrooks76@OctopusEnergy Update was sent 30min ago. The free tickets no longer exist! Just a big tease in the end, offered tickets but not able to claim them.
@OctopusEnergy@AndyBrooks76 Same here. Didn't book yesterday trying to work out if I could bring son 16yr. Got a reply today that under 18's not welcome, but now won't let me book for myself even!
@OctopusEnergy I won tickets. Dissapointed at your 18+ restriction though. Why can't I bring 16yr old son and budding engineer. It's his generation that will be key to continuing (and completing) the green energy transition. It's also his birthday on 23rd June!
Have a smart meter with @OctopusEnergy but not been billed for over 6mths! Submitting a manual reading doesn't trigger a bill either. Smart meter should mean automatic monthly bill, but even if I email and ask for a bill I don't get one. Not very smart! @g__j
@Zarch1972 80rps (just check). Approx 30% faster than eco, with almost exactly same COP (just drops slightly in warm weather). At least with the 7kW model. If ASHP is slightly oversized as mine is, can just leave NR on -33% 24/7.
@Zarch1972 I run the whole cycle at 70 or 80rps and find this a good sweet spot between efficiency and reheat time. This doesn't require adjusting NR % during run. Have you tried this? I like idea of adjusting approach based on temp, but this requires automation.
