@supercatwin@BadBatcherSC@BladeoftheS This is how stupid the who thing is over 20 years
2006-7 receipts £517b, spend )£553b, deficit £36b now jump forward 2025-26 receipts £1.22T spend £1.36T deficit £137b. Now tell me how things have improved for you
@SuperChaosHog@emmafildes It isn’t simply a point of tax, it is a point of where the money goes. If you feel like your own government actively acts against you then patriotism soon departs. Funded services, managed and sensible immigration policy and remove spite from politics then sentiment returns
@TaxJusticeUK We wouldn’t feel any difference. We would if we redirected the crazy give aways from the last two years and got a grip on PIP. Far bigger saving and not from a point of envy
@PinceyKeeble1 The bloke created nothing as a trader. Businesses create opportunities & pay corp tax, NI, employee tax,VAT, business rates as well as pension contributions before the owner takes anything (& pay more tax). By his own math, this would fund 1 month of the NHS - pure envy politics
@ANMalikSmith Being in favour of it doesn’t mean it’s right. Stop the crazy labour welfare, reduce migrants and shrink the government. Doesn’t matter if it’s popular, it just makes sense
