@206takes@roethfc Nah, thatโs when I became a fan. I still remember sneaking into the bathroom at work to watch the end of the AJAX match and the Lucas Moura miracle ๐ฅฒ
I appreciate the nuance in your opinion, but there is a difference between popularity, appeal and being the face of the league.
Caitlin Clark is the most popular player in the WNBA, and the biggest draw. Sheโs not the face because sheโs not creating a new standard for winning (yet). She does not have accomplishments that people want to take (yet).
What team is everyone trying to beat? The Aces. What player is everyone trying to match? Aโja Wilson.
The standard for winning is Aโja. Michael Jordan became the face of the NBA because he became the standard by which every player is measured. Everyone wanted to stop him. Caitlin isnโt there.
NEW: Pitt's Patt Narduzzi says the ACC is better than the Big Ten:
"It's better than the Big Ten. It's got more skill."
He added: "You look at our record in bowl games against the SEC and the Big Ten. You look at our record in the regular season. We don't have losing records."

Instead of traditional math courses like geometry and algebra, all math courses should be about investing, interest, and real-life financial situations.
Instead of teaching calculus, teach kids how to calculate how much they'd make on a stock over X years at a 9 percent annual return, including compound interest and dividends.
@JG4President@jacksettleman Time zones do matter. Like yeah, Iโm gonna wake up early to watch my Spurs, but a lot of people want to watch their game in primetime after work or on the weekend.
