Very scary to any voxel dev. Realistically what do you do besides hope complaints against it goes viral? Like uno said, small indie devs don't have money to fight lawsuits against microsoft https://t.co/dI4yma7AtH
Microsoft has filed a DMCA takedown on a tiny voxel game Allumeria on Steam. This is ridiculous. All their art and code is original, its not even in the same programming language. At the very least this demands an official statement from Mojang what the point of this is.
@serhyodev Im going to add RPG features later, so you could do normal survival, team up with NPCs and join a town or kingdom, raid dungeons and such for loot.... I kind of want multiple avenues of progression on top of normal "MC-like" survival
The basic survival mode is done! The hotbar and inventory is functional in creative and survival mode. I've also made a start menu so we can start working on world saves. Caves are also in progress - it's tough making them generate fast in such a large world!

@fma_f32 That's not to say that RTX is pure magic like they might have sold people on, but it seems to me like it can give real performance as long as the right people use it in the right way
BIG overhaul to the render distance and structures! This world is rendering 65,000 blocks in diameter, or equal to about ~4000 Minecraft chunks

@_trish_07 For learning graphics programming in low level APIs like OpenGL and Vulkan, it's the thing to use. All the good tutorials like https://t.co/PMJK0ohvxR were written in it
