The official twitter account for the book by @tommayor11. This is a book about the #UluruStatement, told through the stories of twenty First Nations people.
In his new book to be released on 1 September, Thomas Mayor invites 12 contributors to write a letter to their son or father, bringing together a range of perspectives that offers the greatest celebration of First Nations manhood. Thomas also includes his own prose & poetry.

My essay for @esquire, published today. A date marking the beginning of an invasion. An invasion that Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander people have survived. We mourn for those we’ve lost.
With an eye to the past, the essay looks forward for justice.

I joined a solid door knocking session this afternoon with volunteers in Granville, Sydney.
There were many Yes voters at the doors with as many undecided.
We can only win this referendum if we do the hard work. Join us at https://t.co/omU33TZqhb
Please donate too.

Today is the day, The Voice to Parliament Handbook hits the bookshop shelves.
Kerry and I thought a short, concise, cheap and accessible handbook would be helpful.
Well-informed voters are likely to vote ‘Yes’.

Of the Cathy Wilcox cartoons in ‘The Voice to Parliament Handbook - All the details you need’, this is my favourite. It really cuts through.
We have everything to gain and nothing to lose by voting ’Yes’.

There was great support for a Voice to Parliament at a community forum in Alice Springs - a community that has suffered badly from politicians who use the issues caused by colonisation & harmful policies as political opportunities instead of listening to the voice of the people.
When politicians are left to choose who speaks for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, they tend to get it terribly wrong.
We would rather choose our own representatives. And surely that should be easy enough to understand in a democracy.

The 2nd Edition of this best-selling book about the #UluruStatement is out now!
Not only are the stories moving & informative, but the content will help you to help First Nations gain a constitutionally enshrined Voice at the referendum the @AlboMP Government has committed to ❤️
Last weekend, on the 56th anniversary of the Wave Hill Walk-Off, I had the honour of delivering the first Vincent Lingiari lecture on Gurindji land. @NITV and @SBS will be televising it at a later date. Published here are the words.
No one should underestimate the work done, for generations, to finally have a Prime Minister & government that is committed to & passionate about guaranteeing Indigenous people the collective ability to speak to our needs, directly to the Parliament. #ItsTime
I’m excited to announce I’ll be delivering the Vincent Lingiari Memorial Lecture at the Freedom Day Festival, 26 August, for the first time ever on Country.
There’s no better place to pay homage to Lingiari’s courage than on Gurindji land.

A mountain of work has been done by many, relentlessly for over 5 years, to have a government committed to holding a First Nations Voice referendum.
If you’re looking to learn more, I’ve written 3 books that’ll help 👇🏾
