@BradRTorgersen I wouldn't blame jordan at all, only because the longest stretch between a WOT release was 3 years, and then died unexpectedly before 60. This is much different from GRRM or Rothfuss who have not published a in their series in over 15 years. Not out of necessity, but by choice.

And that's it. I finished Memory of Light. It was incredible. If you are alone the fence with reading the wheel of time, it's worth it. The final book might be the best finale I've ever read. Sanderson nailed it.

@AtavismDr @LCplLoPro @cirsova In no world is a 300 page book a brick. The stormlight archive are bricks. The wheel of time books are bricks. ASOIAF are bricks. All of them are 40+ hours on audiobook. Larry's books are very short by modern standards.

Book 8 of the wheel of time down, starting book 9 today. 3 more Robert jordan books to go before I get to the Sanderson books. Going to take a break after this book for a stormlight reread ahead of book 5.
