I worked as contractor & consultant for a long time and found that most big contracting and consulting agencies actively select the worst people to promote. If your corporate culture is garbage, you promote garbage that will keep thre smell you like.

@Epidiah The good news is: he barely half-filled the stadium in one of his strongest states. Overflow went unused, second speech was canceled.

He just flopped at a time and place of his choosing and did it so bad even some conservative news sites are pointing at the empty seats.
