@getdownnewjeans I had the opposite. Played LAD 7 and IW last year and perfected guards, then tried E33 this year and failed miserably. I gave up on it lol I guess I'm stuck doing easy mode now.

Y'all won me over. I got Yakuza 3 Remastered instead of Kiwami 3. It just seemed wiser to experience the original story (for cheaper) rather than paying $60 for an altered story. I may eventually get K3, but for now I'm happy with this.

The character models are low key ugly tho

@CyricZ42 They really do. I started the series with 7 and 8, so I thought he was just a cool dude with a fetish. Then I played K1 and was surprised to find he was once a jerk forcing his fetish on others until Kiryu beat some sense into him. That said, excellent character growth.

as an adult, you're going to get the urge to return to hobbies, like reading, that you used to enjoy as a kid... it is very important that you do so, and start doing things that bring you joy again.

I just finished Pirate Yakuza, and I'm having too many feelings after recognizing the exact moment Majima's memory returned. It wasn't the flashback. It was the look on his face. He was fucking back. Only his love for the others held him back from going totally feral.

For what it's worth, this year is shaping up to be a good one. I just got a fantastic raise and promotion at work, and I finally got a pretty wedding ring. We couldn't afford one before, so it was nice to be able to pick one out this past Christmas.
