But that while there romantic elements in the story, the relationship wasn't the focus if the story, so they passed. Is there a market for SF/Fanatsy books that may have romantic elements but don't actually qualify as romance? Is there a SF market at all? #WritersLife #amwriting

Question for SF/Fantasy writers. When looking at bestsellers, they are almost all romance. I submitted a story to a romance publisher and was told that my story was good and well-written, and they hoped I found a place for it. #writerslife

@ordinaryjoyblog I tend to try to insert time breaks, but use phrases to show the passage of time, a memory from the POV of the character. I have a short that's in an anthology where the editor said I showed good passage of time. I'm probably not explaining this well.
