And because the distributed, open inference marketplace (https://t.co/W01Usi7dpP) powering such applications/systems can is built on top of Trac, it also allows for verifiable provenance of decision-making to be stored on the network.
Sensitive intelligence and model outputs could remain private, while cryptographic commitments record which approved model contributed, which provider served the inference, when it occurred, and whether the resulting activity was included in an authorised settlement epoch.
In real terms, what this allows for, is the creation of a tamper-evident chain of accountability beneath AI-assisted defence workflows.
And this allows decisions to be reviewed, model providers to be held accountable and model performance to be traced without exposing classified operational data, which ofc, in national defence environments, matters a LOT!
It is not enough for an AI system to simply produce an answer, suggest a course of action, of actively command actions to be carried out in the field.
Commanders, auditors and allied systems may need to establish where that intelligence came from, which model produced it, under whose authority it was used, and whether the record has been altered in any way.
That is what @TracNetwork is capable of supporting TODAY.

This version is a faithful recreation of the classic PC/Amiga game, which founded the actual genre. But this time you fight agentic-controlled opponents.
It demonstrates how Trac Network and OpenMayhem enable real-world usage of AI & modern Crypto.
No player needs any wallet, tokens, or to spend anything to play. All that while the underlying economy works.
While it works on phone, Desktop is preferred. In-game, hit the ESC key for how-to and options. F-key enables fullscreen.
Under the hood:
Your opponent is a fully autonomous agent using OpenMayhem providers.
We also used OpenMayhem providers to create media assets for the game itself (videos, images, voice narration). The game engine was created using Fable, using its charming art style.

The network is still young and has limited ai providers. So if you encounter "uplink" problems in-game (see top right), then help the network and join as provider.
The more providers, the more can play. As a bonus, you can earn being a provider.
Every AI inference marketplace has the same problem nobody talks about.
The buyer has no proof the compute they paid for actually ran. The provider has no proof of what they're owed.
OpenMayhem on @TracNetwork just solved it. Every job gets a signed receipt:
- who requested it
- who served it
- the model and price
- the amount owed
- timestamp and both signatures
No invoice. No dispute. No middleman deciding who's right.

Ok, so now that OpenMayhem(dot)io is live on @TracNetwork, here's a breakdown of the importance of having an open marketplace for inference, that removes the need to "trust" the providers. And also, how Trac's native gas asset $TNK plays a crucial role.
The apps and agents using OpenMayhem must be provided with evidence that the inference they paid for was successfully delivered.
The providers also need evidence of the work they served and what they are owed.
𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐌𝐚𝐲𝐡𝐞𝐦 𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐈𝐭
The platform gives both sides a shared, signed receipt recording:
- who requested the inference
- who served it
- the model used
- the serving environment used
- the agreed pricing terms
- the capacity and usage delivered
- the amount owed
- the payment method/rail
- timestamp
- cryptographic signatures of both parties involved in the transaction
It's important to reiterate that all payment terms are agreed on OpenMayhem's open market.
Providers can serve whatever model they like, for whatever price they like, from whatever hardware will support it.
Then organic, supply and demand takes care of the rest. 🤷
The inference receipts support accountability and dispute resolution between all independent parties, who crucially, never need to know or trust one another.
So ultimately, the receipt system is how OpenMayhem enables strangers to trade intelligence as a service, and made possible by using @TracNetwork as the underlying coordination and verification layer.
$TNK'𝐬 𝐂𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐑𝐨𝐥𝐞
As Trac Network's native gas asset, $TNK is what's used to pay for the storage of all inference receipts.
And although $TNK is an accepted payment method, along with card payments and $TAP (@tap_protocol), users, apps and agents are not actually required to own $TNK.
You see, regardless of how they pay for the inference, and whatever model or hardware it is being served from, every receipt that gets written to Trac’s ledger (MSB), requires $TNK as the network gas to make that possible. ⛽️
OpenMayhem simply abstracts that process away from the buyers/users, as they don't need to know.
So the payment method may vary, but the asset used to store the inference records does not, and that asset is $TNK
