I don't drink alcohol. I don't smoke. I'm happily married and involved in my children's lives. I don't break the law and I pay my taxes. I'm the left's worst nightmare.
Government must deliver for working peopleโand every dollar in our budget should work as hard as they do.
Thatโs why I directed every agency to cut waste and help close our budget gap.
Hereโs some of what we found.
I miss the early days of Twitter when Tex, Footer, pRock, Kels, Snatchy, Linz, Canadian Steve, Oozy Poo, and the rest of the gang would actually have fun on our TL.
To those who gave it all in service to our country, who signed a blank check knowing the price could be their lives, we, a grateful nation, thank you for your sacrifice. A country is only as great as those who swear to protect it. You are the finest among us and we strive to live by your example. Thank you.

North Carolina figured something out 40 years ago that most states still haven't.
Instead of just mowing roadsides, they started planting wildflowers.
What began as a tiny 12-acre experiment in 1985 has grown to 1,500 acres of pollinator habitat across the state.
The U.S. mows roughly 17 million acres of roadside grass every year at massive cost for basically zero benefit to wildlife.
Every state already pays to maintain those shoulders and medians. They could turn that same land into wildflower corridors for less money and way more impact.
North Carolina proved it works, the rest of the country has no excuse.
