Take that in. Then try wrapping your head around the fact that we’re only seeing the beginning of a destabilising planet, while remembering that GHG emissions are still rising and the companies largely causing this are making record profits.
A bit concerning, don’t you think?

“You must not do any work which might harm nesting birds or destroy their nests. You’ll usually find nesting birds during the main nesting and breeding season from 1 MARCH TO 31 AUGUST.”

So, why is this poor man subjected to unwanted criminal activity from a local farmer year after year?! The hedge in question is Wych Elm - home to a colony of White-letter Hairstreak #butterflies. A butterfly that is only just expanding into Scotland in recent years.
Not only that, there is now an exposed nest of birds, likely to be predated. They’re just lucky they weren’t themselves flailed in the process…
When will the policing of how our hedgerows are managed & the enforcement of the above mentioned recommendations FROM THE GOVERNMENT become a reality?! 😡
The situation in Antarctica worsens. But what are the possible implications and why should we be concerned?

Protected sites like National Parks & AONBs should be refuges for nature, but many are in poor condition 📢🏞️

They may not agree on many things in political life, but Scottish women MPs and MSPs have talked about the “vile” sexism and misogyny which they experience on social media: a blight which they believe is deterring young females from entering politics! https://t.co/9FHQo9YeVR
Yes but we were importing too much of our food. The famous Mediterranean diet is seasonal. We can grow wonderful food here & should be doing more of that. So I agree Brexit is a disaster, but a year-round supply of cheap tomatoes from Spanish greenhouses was always unsustainable.
The global deep sea mining industry wants to mine an area 4 times the size of Germany, in an area with huge biodiversity & marine life. UK Govt cannot give this mining the green light.

The @EnvAgency provided a report to @WinchesterCity that local chalk stream groundwater is in 'Poor' condition
Here's the blurb from that report. Not once does it mention the EA has a legal duty to "maintain, improve and develop salmon and trout", fisheries like chalk streams.😡
