@amandanat Grocery delivery! House cleaning! And a robotic vacuum that runs every night to keep the place clean in between. And this isn't something I pay for, but batch cooking meals for the kids is a game changer too.
🎤 Tap, tap….is anyone still here? 🤷🏽♀️ I’m soft-launching a new venture to help mothers return to the workforce after taking time off to be with their families. Feel free to share with any moms you know who are considering a change ♥️ https://t.co/dsAJwN0D30
15 years ago I thought the college app process was stressful…but on Monday I logged onto my computer @ 715am (the precise moment my sons preschool app was released) filled in & submitted by 718, and still got waitlisted??? Did I mess up my sons future already???
@returnofthegoth Walking the kids up a steep hill for cardio most days. Sweat app for super challenging 30-minute weight training at home 2-3x a week while kids are asleep (or watching with a snack and laughing 🤣)
Mums will always be mums ♥️ This evening mine babysat my kids so I could go out with other adults; tonight that meant holding my 11mo child for three hours because she wouldn’t stay asleep otherwise, and yet when I came home she said “it’s ok, you deserve a break too”
@AmandaMGoetz 32, married with 2 young kids. I started my own business 10 years ago because I knew sitting in an office was a waste of time…back then it was because I wanted to travel but now it means I can be there for the kids too :)
I never thought of myself as a luddite but here I am, googling "how to buy a new MacBook" because I have no idea whether I need an M1 Pro or M1 Max or M2 chip and wondering whether any of them are even compatible with my iPhone 8 and Series 1 Apple Watch🙃
Finished 95% of my holiday shopping, threw an amazing birthday party & made cupcakes from scratch for my sons preschool class, got caught up with my work, thought “wow I really have my shit together” and then realised I dropped my kid at school whilst still in my dressing gown
