Anyone who wants to create, see, and experience the future should visit the Science Museum’s permanent exhibition—an inspiring showcase two years in the making.
If Ethiopians truly want to shape tomorrow, they should bring their children here. I humbly encourage our young people to take advantage of this incredible opportunity to learn and grow by visiting the exhibition this rainy season.
We visited several institutions whose impressive work has made Brazil’s agricultural sector one of the most productive, efficient, and modern in the world. The Brazilian National Supply Company (Conab), now 25 years old, plays a critical role in agricultural policy—supporting the value chain from production to market and implementing effective supply management systems.
We also visited Embrapa, the government’s agricultural research corporation, which has transformed Brazil into a global agricultural powerhouse. Through innovations that improve soil fertility, develop high-yielding crop varieties, and enhance sustainable pasture management, Embrapa has driven remarkable progress.
We saw firsthand how Brazilian farmers, empowered by innovation and technology, have become symbols of national pride. We also witnessed the impact of a cooperative that directly and indirectly benefits more than 1.5 million people across various sectors.
Ethiopia and Brazil share similar natural conditions, including the challenge of acidic soils that limit productivity. Given Brazil’s success in overcoming these constraints, we see valuable opportunities to learn from their experience as we work to enhance food security in Ethiopia.
Bishoftu, often celebrated as the mother of seven lakes, is at the heart of an integrated corridor development project. This initiative aims to harness the city's natural treasures to boost tourism and attract domestic and international visitors.
The project seeks to enhance Bishoftu's beauty, modernity, and residents' quality of life. City management and project teams are working tirelessly to ensure the timely completion of this transformative endeavor.
The government is dedicated to making cities like Bishoftu more vibrant, livable, and enriched with greenery and modern infrastructure, ensuring they stand out as hubs of natural and urban harmony.
Deeply shocked by the attack on former President Trump @realDonaldTrump. I wish him a quick and full recovery; and wish the American people a peaceful and democratic election season.
No country can effectively confront the climate challenge if debt is a burden. This is why the G20 must work to implement bolder and timely debt relief plans to help the most affected countries overcome debt distress, address climate change, and pursue more equitable and sustainable economic growth objectives.
