Ten years ago, I bet my savings on an idea.
Not that Bitcoin would go up.
But that people deserved a better way to access it.
No investors.
No venture capital.
No shortcuts.
Just relentless belief, thousands of customers, and a mission that never changed.
Today, Crypto Dispensers has served over 100,000 users and remains proudly bootstrapped.
I shared the full story on the latest @Web3pod.xyz episode—from surviving bank shutdowns to building one of the longest-running Bitcoin companies in America.
If you’re building something, fighting through obstacles, or simply believe in Bitcoin’s future, this episode is for you.

1/6: I just dropped a new episode with @FirasIsa, founder of @cryptodispenser, a bootstrapped Bitcoin on-ramp that has been profitable for nearly a decade with zero outside funding. Here is what I learned.
10 years ago, Crypto Dispensers started with a simple belief:
Bitcoin should be accessible to everyone.
What began as a single Bitcoin ATM and a vision for a better financial future has grown into one of the longest-running and largest bootstrapped Bitcoin companies in the industry.
Over the years, we’ve navigated banking challenges, regulatory uncertainty, market cycles, and intense competition from heavily funded companies. Through it all, we’ve remained focused on one thing:
Serving our customers.
Today, more than 100,000 people have used Crypto Dispensers to access Bitcoin, and every milestone we’ve achieved has been made possible by the trust of our customers and the dedication of our team.
In a recent episode of the Web3 with Sam Kamani Podcast, our founder, Firas Isa, shares the story behind Crypto Dispensers, the challenges we’ve overcome, and why our mission remains as important today as when we started.
If you’re interested in Bitcoin, entrepreneurship, financial freedom, or building a company the hard way, this is an episode worth listening to.

Ashes are what remain after a living tree has been burned away. They are a stark reminder of what has been lost—the towering crown, the deep roots, the sheltering shade, and the life that once existed.
Recognizing this loss is an important experience for men over thirty. If a man never feels that diminishment deeply, he may remain trapped in an inflated image of himself. He continues to identify with his youthful energy, his sexual drive, his intellect, his refusal to commit, his addictions, his desire to transcend ordinary life, and his need to appear cool or exceptional.
But maturity begins when he realizes that these qualities are not his true foundation. They are branches and leaves that can wither, fall away, or burn. Only when he confronts what remains beneath them can he discover who he really is.
