Glowing tributes to the Martyrs of 13th July 1931, whose sacrifices remain a golden chapter in the history of Jammu & Kashmir.

The valiant sons of 1931 laid down their lives to usher in an era founded upon justice, democracy, equality and freedom. Their legacy imposes upon every citizen the sacred duty to preserve and uphold these cherished ideals. The truest tribute we can offer these martyrs is to build a society rooted in harmony, where no individual is discriminated against on the basis of religion, region, caste or creed.

The heroes of 1931 envisioned a democratic, progressive and inclusive Jammu & Kashmir and willingly embraced martyrdom in pursuit of that noble cause. It is our collective responsibility to carry forward their mission by strengthening the principles for which they sacrificed everything and ensuring that these ideals remain inviolable.

The sacrifices of the Martyrs of 13th July shall forever illuminate humanity's enduring struggle for dignity, justice and freedom. Their blood marked the beginning of a resolute movement against autocracy and awakened the conscience of an entire people to stand united against injustice.

The 13th of July will eternally remain a symbol of courage, resilience and the commitment of the people of Kashmir to triumph over hatred and tyranny through peace, compassion and non-violence.

The act of tugging a Muslim girl’s hijab is a grave assault on her dignity, personal liberty and the constitutionally guaranteed freedom of faith.

When such an act is attributed to an individual occupying the highest executive office , it represents a deeply disturbing erosion of constitutional morality and a blatant disregard for the respect owed to women.

This is a wrong and unfortunate act and totally unacceptable and cannot be brushed aside. CM Nitish Kumar must publicly tender an unconditional apology.

Heartfelt tributes to Sher-e-Kashmir, Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah Sahib, on his 120th birth anniversary. He was a leader of unmatched courage whose life was marked by sacrifice, vision, and an unshakeable commitment to the people of Jammu & Kashmir.

His historic Land-to-Tiller reforms ended centuries of exploitation and empowered thousands of landless farmers, making him one of the greatest champions of social and economic justice. He spent many years in prison, willingly giving up his freedom so that the people of J&K could live with dignity, rights and self-respect. His reforms in education, social welfare and communal harmony reshaped the identity and aspirations of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.

May Allah bless his noble soul, grant him Jannat-ul-Firdous and may his enduring legacy continue to inspire generations to uphold unity and justice.
