@PaulMic41396374 @AimageCm @CSI_Starbase Never ask and you never get answers. Guess what, Zach got an answer, so it seems like you didn’t need to turn this into some hate focused thing because spacex clearly don’t mind people finding stuff interesting. Interest in space is how we get more engineers
@dtxpreston @SP_LimitReviews@DirtyTesLa Camera upgrades aren’t possible as the HW3 computer doesn’t have the processing power to support them. Until Tesla makes a statement that HW3 cannot succeed I wouldn’t write it off, because HW4 couldn’t drive perfectly on the current software either
@_BRCooper@alex_avoigt@EliBurton_ The best thing for the mission is to sell as many cars as possible as fast as possible, while showing they can be made profitably at the lowest prices possible. This is doing that
@TimATyndall@Wooley3465@FrameByFrameTV@falcon58g@cctvidiots You’re the one being a dick, and no you weren’t trying to “help”. Telling someone to get their eyes checked because of a minorly incorrect color is a snide comment and being a dick
@yeeee07961351@kylecoolky@duckduckgeese@luder8881@SawyerMerritt Hey genius a fucking Kia Soul has remote start and AC control. It’s not based on “luxury” cars, and regardless of the car it’s stupid to have to burn fuel in an engine to do so. EVs are better, get over yourself
@ElonsMusketeers@dkaygee@wholemars They didn’t add it for safety ratings, cause the current vision system scores better in those than the radar system did. We don’t really know why they added it back in, but the best guess so far is data collection. Maybe refreshed 3 will have it though and you’re right
@Spelling_Expurt@ValtteriValo@agoge_warrior@wholemars There is a substantial difference between having a closed off area mapped to millimeter accuracy and following a path through that, vs actively seeing and understanding your environment and responding in kind. Every single company underestimated the difficulty, not just Tesla
@skc2000rpm @JacobBolanowski @WhamBaamYT Anticipation and prediction is actually a large part of AI. By learning from previous data and experience it is able to predict what a likely outcome will be given a current situation
@MahmutC63199111 @EraseTheEgo@Mikam12ka@contra_cult@RightWingCope@bomebebot I’m on your side in all counts of this other than the Epstein thing. I’m pretty sure there’s no actual info that he went to the island, with the only sources being posts where the authors later admitted to making it up. Happy to be corrected of course
@Smurfyface32423 @PlotACourse@DJSnM As much as I want as many rockets to succeed as possible, blue origin doesn’t really have any sort of track record that gives me confidence that New Glenn is guaranteed. They still haven’t gone orbital yet, and their non orbital rocket had a failure. It’s just yet to be seen
@Trimawes@NSuresh_ECW@SawyerMerritt The cars were actually profitable for a very long time, they were just losing money because of how much they were investing in building out everything for expansion
@dadanatorX @OscarEnjoylife @Bluearmy_12_21 @GamerTex@SawyerMerritt That’s because Tesla spent a decade setting up all the infrastructure so they could get to this scale. We don’t have another decade just to get ready to build chargers, we need all those chargers to have already been built and installed by the end of the decade
@johnharris2464@resergent@NoLieWithBTC Yeah, the batteries that only have to be mined once are so much worse than the oil that has to be drilled and the coal that has to be mined *checks notes* literally forever… Is your suggestion that we delete all society? Like what is your solution if not batteries/renewables?
@ntvll@Josheye@MikeStirner@techAU They compare their data to their own cars with and without FSD Beta or autopilot and show that using the systems results in fewer crashes than not using them
