My last duty weekend.
Retirement 31st July after a total of 34 years service in Cumbria FRS. Just saying my goodbyes to ops crews in South Lakes area. Me and the Skoda Scout have been responding to incidents since 2016 keys handed in on Friday 09.00hrs CS062

Cumbria fire crews from 47P1 Ulverston, 60P1 Kendal, 70P1 Windermere, assit NWAS, NW Heli Med at Rescue of person Cartmel Fell South Lakeland. 1 person air lifted to hospital. All Emergency crew working as one to deliver the public the best service.

Remembering Fleur Lombard today, 27 years after she lost her life fighting an arson fire. She was only 21 and was the first woman firefighter post war to be killed on duty. She was posthumously awarded the Queen’s Gallantry Medal. #NeverForgotten

Great effort today from Cumbria fire crews at building fire in Coniston. First attendance C43 Coniston followed by C61 Ambleside, C70 Windermere & C47 Ulverston. Fire extinguished all person safe no injuries. Help your local community become an On Call Firefighter 🚒

Attended property fire on Tuesday night. Fire crews from Cumbria Fire and Rescue & NWAS Ambulance responded to a persons reported fire call. All persons accounted for on arrival.
