Spiderman: Across the Spider-Verse was amazing to watch and was also really funny! Lots of lol'ing in the theater! Well done artists and writers! There was one scene in particular that got a huge GUFFAW- u can probably guess which scene!
As someone who annually lives through wildfire season, I happen to be in nyc this week & told my coworkers to wear masks outdoors. The next thing I’ll do is tape up the windows and cover the fireplaces with trash bags. And make sure there are air filters in the front lobby.
I put an easel in my 3 yr olds room cuz she kept sneaking into her older bros room to draw at his desk late at night. Tonight she put her toy giraffe on the floor by the easel & started drawing it & referencing it to get the spots right and all I could think of was “oh shit.”
Meanwhile, the 6 yr old is quickly learning to read and is reading everything. Road signs, menus, books. I think this part has been my favorite part of raising a human.
I do think it's the guns but I also think it's this country's extremely expensive and prohibitive health insurance industry. People can't afford psychiatry.
I cannot stop compulsively thinking about the man in the blue hat behind Ted throughout this scene. Everywhere you look in this episode there’s storytelling galore jesus christ #tedlasso
@AshleyGWinter We fly w/small kids. Never had bad experience w/angry people. My toddler choked & barfed & it smelled so bad & everyone was lovely. The attendant gave me pants to wear b/c I was covered in it. Also, I cleaned it up myself w/gloves & tool they gave me & would clean up popcorn too.
On Monday after a long week & wknd of work, I woke up at 2:30am for my 5:30am flight. 8 hours later I walked out of the airport terminal & my 3 year old ran to me & gave me the biggest hug. Last night I slept for 10 hours and my kids did the same and it was really wonderful!
@marcscheff I was feeling really cranky after fighting with my soon-to-be 6 year old at 6am over watching tv and not eating breakfast or brushing his teeth. Not a great way to start the day! This made me laugh though!
@v_solesmith My son is currently learning to read & write in public school Kinder. He's my oldest. I have no expectations & it's all very exciting. We have no idea what we're doing. His teacher has been great at also guiding the parents by emailing us advice on how to help.
My daughter was singing "Down By the Bay" and the next day I got an ad that Raffi tickets are on sale in my area & we're going and I'm so emotional. https://t.co/vhjSt212xr
