THE *WORLD'S FIRST* EVER FLYING SHINY GARCHOMP
Full odds resets checking 10 garchomp & 10 magnezone each time ~ about 3840 seen total!
I've named her Stormfly and she may be one of the craziest shinies I've found to date :)
Really curious to see how this develops not just for Pokémon GO but for AR games in general, and how Niantic uses their new focus on Niantic Spatial moving forward.
@NianticSpatial 's Large Geospatial Model is really impressive already, imagine what all they can do!
Today we’re announcing changes at Niantic that will set us on a bold new course. We have reached an agreement for Scopely to acquire Pokémon GO, Pikmin Bloom, Monster Hunter Now, and the incredible teams working on these experiences. And we’re spinning off our pioneering geospatial AI business into a new company, Niantic Spatial Inc. Read more in our blog here. https://t.co/it9xAFpysZ
this just dawned on me
in the pokemon world they have their own gibberish alphabet that we can't read
and unown are based in letters of greek alphabet which means
the characters in-game, can't know that they are letters
the only person who can read unown is THE PLAYER 🤯🤯
Dude I saw the Legends Z-A and Champions announcement on Pokemon Day and got so hyped. It's so exciting to see the ideas they have for Z-A, and Champions is going to change competitive play.
The TCG is in a tough situation right now, but it's an external issue I think :(
My opinion: being a Pokémon fan in 2025 feels… demotivating.
Games don’t excite me like they used to. The technical side is still what it is (we don’t play Pokémon for graphics, sure, I agree), but seeing my favorite franchise fall behind others is discouraging. Z-A’s trailer didn’t spark the same thrill I felt with other games.
And the TCG? Even worse. Scalpers, absurd prices… collecting feels impossible now. Everything is about money and investing. Scalpers ruined this.
Honestly, if I’m still here talking about Pokémon everyday, it’s mostly because of Pokéos. It keeps me connected to Pokémon and the community in a way I still love. But yeah, it’s tough.
Being a fan doesn’t mean blindly loving everything. I LOVE Pokémon and everything about it, but that doesn’t mean I can’t acknowledge its issues. Sometimes, being a real fan means wanting better.
Still, I’m looking forward to playing Legends: Z-A, and I know it’s unfair to judge an unreleased game. I just hope it surprises me and proves to be a step forward for the series. We’ll see. 🤞🏼
Pokémon will never change the combat system of its core new generation games. Too many people have been used to it for decades especially competitive players. They can’t just tell Wolfey Glick “Sorry bud turn based is over learn real-time PvP” 💀
But that’s why the Legends games are amazing. These ARE the mainline games where they can be more experimental and do things we’ve never seen before. Legends Arceus having strong & agile moves to have Pokemon go multiple turns and now Legends Z-A adding real-time battles with move recharges and dodging. It’s honestly the best way to give the old school players the traditional style of battles they’ll always prefer but letting players who crave a new experience try something different each time with the Legends games
Pokemon Gens 1-3 on Game & Watch handhelds a la Mario & Zelda versions with link cable (USB-C) compatibility.
The colour schemes would be immaculate.
I’m incredibly honored to be working with Fenix Down and alongside so many other amazing creators! Being part of their roster has been a wonderful experience, and I can’t wait to see where this journey takes us! 🥹💚
@SweeetTails @heyitsmaisy_ is such an amazing human with a wonderful community. One of my favourite places to be on the internet when I can be around 😊
