✨ Toolbar menus update:
Here's the latest design, pending further feedback and user testing. See github for more info: https://t.co/VqqNWmHzIa

After going through a few rounds of feedback, I have two new menu variants that I'll be testing.
1: "Save to" row (with labeled bookmark action)
2: "Save to" sub-menu (with two paths to bookmark)
Feedback welcome here or on https://t.co/sZrbnN7nly

I'll also be testing this grid menu concept.
Pros: Compact, and the more spatially oriented design might be quicker to use after you get used to it.
Cons: Less text-scannable, possible feeling of mystery meat icon overload.
Update! Sadly, I have no mockups to share at this time because us UX folks are working on long-term planning and designs which need more time to bake. Most of our engineers are currently bug fixing, but there are also improvements to the address bar in the works. —@violasong
Hi all! It's been a while since I've had an update on the homescreen or menus because I discovered new factors that need to be researched and analyzed first. We're having a lot of discussions around balancing priorities right now.
I hope I can share more mockups soon! —V
@vrolijken Hi! I'm in UX and can't help with this, unfortunately. If it's still happening, you can report it via https://t.co/32QfBDU3sw or https://t.co/OF1QihZyqq —Victoria
A small change in the works:
🔎 We can simplify the address bar by making the search engine logo a button for switching search engines. Feedback welcome! —V

Update: Took a step back from my previous homescreen mockups to explore more concepts! These aren't standalone proposals, but rather examples to help guide our discussions. Am I missing any concepts?
Here's a figma link! (You can fork this :)). —V https://t.co/URmgf2ejH3
