The official opening ceremony of the LuxAz Center on 29 May marked an important milestone in strengthening the friendship between Azerbaijan and Luxembourg and creating a new home for cultural, economical, educational, and community activities.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Ambassador @VaqifS and @AZMissionEU the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Kingdom of Belgium and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg for their valuable support in the organization of this memorable event.

🗓️On 23 April, the Cercle Royal Gaulois hosted an exhibition by Azerbaijani photographer Etibar Jafarov.

Entitled “The Colours of Azerbaijan: Land of Multiculturalism,”the exhibition showcased the rich cultural diversity of Azerbaijan and highlighted the country’s longstanding traditions of tolerance, mutual respect, and peaceful coexistence among its various communities.

The event provided an opportunity for distinguished guests to engage with Azerbaijan’s multicultural heritage through a series of evocative photographic works, reflecting the nation’s commitment to intercultural dialogue and understanding.

On April 10, I was honored to meet with Mr. Willy Borsus, President of the Walloon Regional Parliament. We discussed current relations between Azerbaijan and the Walloon Region of Belgium and explored opportunities for expanding cooperation across parliamentary, economic, and other spheres. During the conversation, we exchanged views on strengthening political dialogue, enhancing economic and trade ties, and promoting collaboration in areas such as education, culture, and regional development. We expressed our readiness to continue constructive engagement and to support initiatives aimed at deepening a mutually beneficial partnership in the future.
