Its sensitization event geared towards making the children rights be known.

Menstrual hygiene/mentorship programme at Sarina Haji primary in Suzuki's Subcounty .The Pupils were also taken through the reading for life initiative which seeks to inculcate a reading culture on our pupils @NakuruCountyGov@GovLeeKinyanjui@KenyaRedCross
The mentorship and menstrual hygiene programme has been ongoing this year.We visited Gitare primary school last week and we donated books and hygiene packs to the pupils .
The programme seeks to visit at least three schools in each subcounty

This morning I joined cancer management and awareness champions during the oncology handling workshop.
I am happy to note the meal offered to the cancer patients through my office at the Oncology centre has been of help to the patients .
I also encouraged residents to donate blood as it helps during emergencies, most importantly to cancer patients .
The mentorship and menstrual hygiene programme to both boys and girls is ongoing and am hopeful pupils in our county will greatly benefit .
