@ThrillaRilla369 Jim Steinman had a great sense of humour in his lyrics, coupled with catchy melodies. Meatloaf brought them to life in a way that Jim never could. Not my thing as a kid, but it was never really intended as kid’s music.
@bluewmist It depends. If you are the sort of person that will blow $5M in a couple of years because you’ve never had money, then option 3. If you can invest wisely and dodge tax, definitely option 2. With option 2 you can withdraw 6k a week and never have less than you started with.
@andie1105@Keir_Starmer@UKLabour I can’t believe you folks are still falling for the misinformation lol. Starmer was talking about changing his party in 2023, and if people didn’t like the changes he had made to prevent anti-semitism, they could leave the party.
@innergrowthuk @implausibleblog@snb19692 If you remove the profits of the wealthy, why would they bother making profits to remove from themselves? They’d just close up shop and sack everyone they employ…
@chloepomfret_ “Win” is a transitive verb meaning ‘to get possession of by effort or fortune’, or ‘to reach by expenditure of effort’, among other uses. Please don’t distract yourself from your amazing achievements and future goals by inventing problems.
@NicholasTyrone You are right for all the wrong reasons. The Second World War ended in 1945. That was 79 years ago. Boomers are named after the baby boom following the end of that War. Not all older people are boomers.
@Ocado it might interest you to know that my most recent grocery shop was £88. I priced it up on Ocado to see if it was worth changing, choosing the cheapest available options, and it was £126. That’s 46% more at Ocado. Wow, just…, wow!
@GarthGibbins@GuillermElodie Sorry to burst your bubble, but 63% of voters didn’t vote to leave in the first place. Either way, we should be moving forward together, along the most sensible path. The EU will not accept us for membership in the near future, so we need to make the best of what we can.
