A First Time Buyer in London, been looking since 2017. Trying to remain relentlessly optimistic. Interested to hear from and share information with others.
@TfLTravelAlerts it’s about 30 degrees on the platform waiting for the Bakerloo line at Oxford Circus and you are just saying services held with no announcement or explanation. Am I going to make it into work in the next 30 minutes?
Buy to let’s beginning to preempt a squeeze? Lots of chain free properties coming onto the market. Wish some of them were in better condition and with a sensible leasehold/freehold arrangement #firsttimebuyer
@TfL are you ever going to get trains running on time from Rectory Road, they are consistently terrible, delayed, or cancelled with no notice - it makes getting anywhere, like for instance to work on time quite difficult
@HomeOwnersAll is such a great resource for #firstimebuyers - read up #knowbeforeyoubuy. Think about how many times you look at a pair of trainers before you buy them. The average house price in London is about 14500 pairs of trainers https://t.co/JxTbPoQDoh
Been reflecting on being #gazumped, surely there is a need for #regulation or at least a statutory procedure by which offers are placed & accepted. Not knowing whether or not the offer you are bidding against is even real seems farcical & leads to massive inflation in prices
As #London keeps growing so are the #houseprices. We took a look at what new infrastructures means to the future home buyers. https://t.co/XzmrUV1A7o #ukproperty#firsttimebuyer https://t.co/eQiJjLZikS
Learned my lesson with guide prices, be very careful as the lowest price appears to be there to get people through the doors and bidding - may not be realistic for you and actually increase the price artificially if you do place a bid #FirstTimeBuyers#firsttimebuyerwoes#london
