The Hamilton County Metro ICAC Task Force is a partnership with the Fishers Police Department, Hamilton County Sheriff's Office Indiana, Carmel Police Department, Noblesville Police Department, Department of Homeland Security, Westfield Police Department - Indiana, Madison County Sheriff, Anderson Police Department, and the Greenfield Police Department. Friendly reminder, Fishers: Beginning Monday, officers may issue citations for violations of the City’s updated e-bike, e-scooter, e-moto, bicycle, and trail safety ordinance.

The ordinance was adopted to help keep our trails, sidewalks, bike lanes, and roadways safe for everyone who uses them.

A few key reminders:
-Class 3 E-Bikes are allowed where bicycles are permitted
-E-Motos are permitted on roadways only. Riders must be at least 15 with a valid ID. Riders 15-18 must wear a helmet.
-All E-Bike, E-Scooter, and E-Moto riders under 18 must wear a helmet.
-Reckless riding, unsafe passing, and excessive speed are prohibited

As the ordinance takes effect, we encourage everyone to take a few minutes to review the rules before heading out.

Most riders are already doing the right thing. Knowing the rules helps ensure everyone can enjoy Fishers’ trails and roadways safely.

Our goal remains the same: safe and enjoyable shared spaces for residents, visitors, pedestrians, cyclists, and riders alike.

The Fishers City Council has approved updated regulations for e-bikes, scooters, e-motos, trails, sidewalks, bike lanes, and roadways throughout the city.

During this process, we heard feedback from residents, riders, and trail users and changes were made to the ordinance as a result.

Updated provisions include:

Bike Patrol has begun! You’ll be seeing our officers more often on two wheels in Fishers’ trails, parks and neighborhoods.

Fishers police arrested two suspects (One adult/One juvenile) in connection with an armed robbery/carjacking.

On Tuesday May 26th, Fishers Police arrested 18-year-old Khalil Glover and a 17-year-old juvenile, both of Indianapolis. The suspects were each charged with four felonies and the juvenile with one additional misdemeanor.

On Monday May 25th at approximately 10:39 pm, FPD Officers responded to the report of an armed carjacking at the IHOP 9750 North by Northeast Blvd, just north of E 96th Street. One of the accused pointed a gun, with an extended magazine, at the victim in the parking lot and demanded the keys to the victim’s car. Both suspects entered and stole the victim’s car and sped away. The victim was unharmed during the incident.

Our officers utilized the FLOCK camera system and knew the vehicle had been driven toward Binford Blvd in Indianapolis. Information was provided to surrounding law enforcement agencies and IMPD was able to locate the victim’s vehicle in an Indianapolis apartment complex. The vehicle was unoccupied when it was found and additional evidence belonging to the victim was also located.

Surveillance video was collected near the robbery scene by detectives, which provided suspect clothing descriptions. With evidence collected, FPD detectives assigned to the FBI Violent Crimes Task Force, along with FBI Special Agents located two suspects in the same apartment complex wearing clothing items matching the clothes worn during the carjacking. After a search warrant was obtained by FPD detectives, IMPD SWAT and IMPD K9 assisted in serving the search warrant and arresting Khalil Glover and the Juvenile. Additional items of evidence related to the robbery/carjacking belonging to the victim were located along with the firearm used in the robbery.

Detectives interviewed Glover who confessed to the robbery/carjacking and admitted that the juvenile male was also with him during the robbery.

Glover and the Juvenile male were transported and booked into the Hamilton County Jail.

“When someone in our city, whether a resident or someone visiting is victimized, we take it personal. We will use all our resources, all our people, and all our partnerships to find criminals and hold them accountable,” Chief Ed Gebhart said, “Technology helps us, but it’s just a tool for good old fashioned police work to take place. I’m extremely proud of our team and our ability to work with our law enforcement partners.”

This morning, HSE hosted its annual SRO Breakfast to thank our School Resource Officers for their dedication to keeping our schools safe.

This year also marked the first time an officer was recognized as HSE’s SRO of the Year. We are proud to congratulate Officer Clausius on receiving this honor.

Several SROs were nominated, but Officer Clausius stood out to the committee for his ability to connect with students, his willingness to go the extra mile in the classroom, and the positive attitude he brings to work every day.

RELEASED ON BEHALF OF THE HAMILTON COUNTY METRO ICAC TASK FORCE.

On May 19, 2026, Eric Fogelberg was arrested on seventeen felony counts related to child sex crimes, including Child Exploitation, a Level 4 Felony. (see all charges below).

Fogelberg, a resident of McCordsville, IN, was investigated by the Hamilton County Metro ICAC Task Force after receiving multiple CyberTips from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. The CyberTips, submitted by Kik and Snapchat, showed numerous images of Child Sex Abuse Material involving prepubescent children.

Detectives with the Hamilton County Metro ICAC Task Force served a search warrant on Fogelberg’s residence where further evidence was obtained that Fogelberg was chatting online with other users on Telegram or Kik and distributing additional child sex abuse material to others.

The task force is headquartered at the Fishers Police Department. The task force is comprised of detectives from the following agencies: Fishers Police Department, Carmel Police Department, Westfield Police Department, Noblesville Police Department, Greenfield Police Department, Anderson Police Department, Hamilton County Sheriff, Madison County Sheriff, and Homeland Security Investigations. The task force focuses on internet crimes against children and investigates child exploitation cases in Hamilton, Hancock, Madison, and Tipton counties.

Fogelberg is being held at the Hamilton County Jail awaiting transfer to Hancock County. A charge is merely an accusation, and the arrested person(s) is presumed innocent until proven guilty.

Yesterday, Fishers Police Department Intelligence Analyst Sydney Carillo was recognized by the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Indiana with the Outstanding Collaborative Investigation Award.

Carillo was recognized alongside several federal, state, and local law enforcement partners for her role in a large-scale investigation targeting a drug trafficking organization responsible for distributing fentanyl and methamphetamine throughout Central Indiana.

Through intelligence gathering, interagency coordination, and collaborative investigative efforts, the case resulted in the seizure of dangerous narcotics, firearms, and other criminal assets, helping disrupt the flow of deadly drugs into Indiana communities.

The investigation highlights the critical role intelligence analysts play in supporting complex investigations and strengthening partnerships between local, state, and federal agencies to improve public safety.

We are proud of Analyst Carillo and grateful for the continued collaboration that helps keep Fishers and communities across Central Indiana safe.
