🚧 TRAFFIC ALERT: Major Changes Coming to Olio Road & Southeastern Parkway

Phase 2 of the roundabout reconstruction project is expected to begin Monday, October 26, and continue through the end of the year.

During this phase, the roundabout connections used to travel north and south on Olio Road will close.

➡️ Southbound Olio: Traffic approaching from the north will be directed west onto Campus Parkway/146th Street.

⬆️ Northbound Olio: Drivers will detour using 136th Street and the new connection to Southeastern Parkway.

➡️ Eastbound traffic: Drivers will use the bypass lane toward IU Health Fishers to reach the roundabout at 136th Street.

⬅️ Westbound traffic: One lane through the roundabout will remain open toward Campus Parkway/146th Street and northbound Olio Road. Drivers continuing south will use the new connector road east of the roundabout.

Nearby businesses, hospitals and medical offices will remain open and accessible. Expect changing traffic patterns and significant delays, especially during peak hours.

Lane and ramp closures are planned in northeast Indy this weekend as crews prepare to open another lane to traffic on northbound I-69 north of 82nd Street.

Drivers are expected to be able to use the fifth lane by Sunday morning, 10/18.

🔹 Oct. 9 | 7 a.m.–7 p.m.: Milling and paving of Allisonville Road’s inside lanes and turn lane, along with traffic signal timing adjustments. Major delays are anticipated—drivers are strongly encouraged to use an alternate route.
🔹 Oct. 12, 7 p.m.–Oct. 13, 7 a.m.: Overnight milling on 116th Street.
🔹 Oct. 13–16 | 7 p.m.–7 a.m. nightly: Overnight paving on 116th Street.

Milling and paving operations for the 116th Street and Allisonville Road Improvement Project are scheduled to begin Friday, October 9, with work continuing through Friday, October 16.

Milling and paving of the outside lanes of Allisonville Road. Access points along Allisonville Road may be temporarily closed for several hours as crews work through the area and will reopen when possible.
Saturday, October 10 | 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Milling and paving of the inside lanes of Allisonville Road. Expect lane and turn restrictions.
Monday, October 12, 7 p.m. to Tuesday, October 13, 7 a.m.
Overnight milling along 116th Street. Access points may temporarily close as equipment moves through the area.

October 13-16 | 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. nightly
Overnight paving along 116th Street. Access points may temporarily close as paving equipment moves through the area and will reopen as work allows.
