Toledo Bend Reservoir served up a headturner for Jim Franklin, after boating a 14-plus-lb largemouth dragging a Carolina-rigged brush hog through flooded timber.
The fish beat the state’s ShareLunker threshold by more than a pound.
“It was total chaos in the boat,” Franklin tells F&S. “She jumped five times—and every time she surfaced, she looked bigger.”
