@jimmy_sarga@paynedre1@jeffphilips1 There are 3 categories of APC supporters:
1. The ones who feed off the rot, as SSAs or political jobbers or contractors etc,
2. The ones who fantasize that they can one day succeed, like Tinubu despite his shadiness did,
3. The poor ones who love that everyone else is now poor.
Can’t even lie, Pastors catch more smoke than Islamic leaders. If you go to a mosque, there’s a 90% chance the preacher is telling you to be patient and not insult the government or some “support your Muslim brother” bs.
Good morning everyone, his killer Kelvin Ezeigbe Oniarah was sentenced in 2013.
President Tinubu granted him clemency last year 2025, and he is set to be released this year.
Thanks for your attention to this matter.
@counteymoon Middle Eastern politics, much like Russia vs Ukraine, mean nothing to me as an African. I watch it like I watch football, no hard feelings, just see men compete. My African brothers die in wars by the millions, those are a higher priority.
Yes - there was a massive amount of litter left by people attending the Arsenal parade. Yes - a lot of amazing Islington Council workers were responsible for the clean-up. Yes - Arsenal have footed the bill for this, which logistically made far more sense than asking people to sling it in already overflowing bins elsewhere over a much larger area on their way home. Yes - the parade also brought a huge amount of money into the local economy.
Again - you’re all looking for an issue where there ain’t one.
Yep they did fuck all with the ball. People think that because they dominated possession they deserved to win??? They spent most of the game passing the ball around to their back four. Most of their shots were from outside the box and they only had 4 shots on target from 21 shots
We genuinely underestimate what Tunde Ednut is doing on Instagram. Singlehandedly holding down the forte, on there.
Imagine someone like him decides to form apolitical.
Nigeria has decayed too far for anyone to sit on a fence - that is how you utilize your influence.
We should stop pretending page length is an indicator of how difficult it is to get through a book. Monte Cristo is like 900 pages but is basically litslop so you get through it easily. A soap opera telenovella isn't complex just because it has 500 episoded either
My granddad is the best person i know
At 11, he tried a cig and didn't like it and never smoked since
At 18, he was on the verge of death from sepsis when his mom's friend's husband, a long haul Aeroflot pilot, brought penicillin back from the US. When the antibiotics started working, the doc told his mom - don't cry, he might even live up to 40
At 21, he got a degree in nuclear physics, but wasn't allowed to work in the industry due to weakened health. He found himself in the Soviet space programme
At 26, he sent Sputnik to space, a few weeks before he had his first child
At 32, he made the discovery of the Earth's plasmasphere
At 60, he learnt English because the iron curtain had fallen and he could travel to the international space conferences. He needed to write and present in English
At 70, he would fight me for the dial-up internet as I wanted to chat to online friends, while he needed to send some work emails from home
At 85, he visited me in London and went to the British Museum five days in a row. One of the days we were having afternoon tea, and he exclaimed: "I'm so lucky! Had I not lived to this age, I would not have seen Amenkhotep III statue and had these wonderful scones at the Ritz"
At 90, he was the only person in my family who said I must absolutely take the opportunity to work in crypto
At 94, he still was still co-authoring scientific papers. And this hasn't stopped yet
Yesterday, he turned 95
Happy birthday granddad 😊
