@RebBarrettNSP@BarrettNatSocP I seen a clip last night of young children causing criminal damage to a guard vehicle. With a won’t in the crowd shouting at the child “cover your face” is this the example you want to set for your children that it ok to carry on like this.
🧗Here’s @RichardbrutonTD on a ROCK CLIMBING WALL to explain the new pay-related Jobseeker's Benefit, which @ReginaDo worked on.
On June 7th, vote No.1 Regina Doherty in Dublin.
The weather is adding to the stress & pressure on farmers these days. It’s easy to feel isolated & alone. It’s more important than ever to look after our own mental health & to look out for neighbours & friends in the farming community. Pick up the phone & have a chat.
@SeanKellyMEP@FineGael @jpemul06 Best of luck @SeanKellyMEP on your selection today. Looking forward to supporting you on the campaign trail over the coming months.
🚨Fine Gael politicians endorse reinstatement of 9% VAT rate for food-led businesses🚨
Fine Gael's Deputy @CiaranCannon and Senator @GarretAhearn have today published a call for the return of the 9% VAT rate for food-led hospitality businesses. In addition to this, Taoiseach @LeoVaradkar has officially acknowledged that a separation of VAT rates for food-led and accommodation businesses is technically possible and “warrants consideration”.
The announcement follows a wave of cross-party support in recent weeks for a separation of the VAT rate that small, independent restaurants and cafés are subject to and the rate that large accommodation providers are subject to. Our industry is in crisis and the only option the Government has at its disposal to ensure a viable future for restaurants, cafés and gastropubs across the country is to reinstate the 9% VAT rate for them.
While the comments from the Taoiseach, Deputy Cannon and Senator Ahearn are certainly positive, the Restaurants Association of Ireland now looks forward to seeing swift and decisive action being taken by Fine Gael and its Government colleagues to reinstate the 9% VAT rate for food-led hospitality businesses, stem the tide of restaurant and café closures and secure a viable future for our industry.

Probably the most devastating take down of Sinn Fein tonight came from Deputy @podonovan
The 22 children in the this state that grew up fatherless because of the dead gardai, put in to early graves by yer sister organisation.
Dublin City Centre, 9:30pm, 22nd November. Walking home from work. Just 24 hours before the riots. 24 hours before people sought to burn their own city to the ground. Ruin their own services and attack the people who serve them. My thoughts are with the children, woman, entire school, parents and those who bravely stepped in to halt the attack in progress. THAT is who I am thinking of. 🕊️🇮🇪
This is entirely made up, @sinnfeinireland only have proof of ability in northern Ireland where there's a housing crisis too (45k on waiting list). Only Fianna Fail can claim to have lowered costs in the past (which they did via the largest house price crash in history)
Thanks to everyone who attended the unveiling of the new Michael Collins statue on the Grand Parade today and to the Collins 100 Committee & @corkcitycouncil for making it happen! Special thanks also to Cork legends Jimmy Barry Murphy, Ronan O’Gara, Rena Buckley & John Spillane!
Later today, Fine Gael will cut taxes and the USC in #Budget2024.
This will be the TENTH Budget in a row that we have put money back in people’s pockets.
This week Hamas has slaughtered women & children. Hamas terrorism should be unreservedly condemned.
Anyone attempting to justify terrorism is undermining work for peace.
This is a human disaster for Israelis & Palestinians.
All hostages should be released.
We urge restraint.
It is with deep sadness that I learned of the tragic incident in Clonmel last night.
Leaving Cert results night should mark the beginning of a world of opportunities for young people. It’s a milestone on the road from childhood to adulthood.
Earlier myself and @FineGael City Council colleague @DannyByrneFG met with Minister @HMcEntee in the #NorthInnerCity to discuss the actions being taken by @GardaTraffic to improve public safety and tackle drug dealing, anti-social & criminal behaviour on our streets. 1/2
