@Dyson DPD delivery driver has collected our vacuum for repair & joked that repair centre is 5 mins away but he has to send it to Birmingham which is 100 miles away and it will then be returned. When fixed it will do the same 100 mile journey to be returned to me. Why?

@MrsMoys @OliviaUtley The Gov gave 20+ years’ notice of the change to State Pension age moving from 60 to 65 for F born between 1950 and 1955. Since all pay same rates of NI and F live longer than men, is it fair that F got pension 5 yrs sooner? No!

@OliviaUtley It’s just an extra tax bill (not a loan) that will stop when you are in your 50s and then be written off. By doing that, we shall all have paid a small contribution toward your university education as UK taxpayers. PS you presumably knew the rules when you started at Uni?

@TomClarksonF1 TC, really loved this episode with Jonathan Palmer; as you say, another discussing his post-F1 business life would be great. Such terrific insight and so interesting that he understood his analytical approach to racing compared to the driving-from-the-heart from Senna.

@itnevercoldhere @AllisonPearson A EV is not better for the environment for the first 50,000 or so miles with the energy cost of creation. On the other hand, maintaining perfectly good and reasonably clean diesel and petrol cars will be vastly more energy efficient (and materially cheaper) for most people.

@GWRHelp I appreciate things are very difficult today and changing regularly. However my daughter took a train from Chippenham to Bath to work this morning and there are now no trains back until 21:43 this evening. Is GWR offering road transport to stranded passengers please?
