#ThinkingTonight about Victoria’s School Principals. I know you’ll again do the next few weeks expertly & with kindness. Just shattered that you have to do it all again.
Thinking of all the Melbourne school leaders and teachers who are about to #pivot again - thank you for your amazing optimism, resilience and commitment to teaching our kids #COVID19Vic#edu
@wendy_harmer Good heavens! I've not heard the word nongs for years! When I was growing up ning nong and nong were often used by mum when she was exacerbated with me! Very racist beginnings I imagine. Sorry for the couple!
And that’s the school term....amazing commitment and care from our teachers, non-teaching staff, school leaders & leadership teams across the state to ensure outstanding education continuity for our young people.
Enjoy the break-hope each of you get to rest and relax!
Happy holiday to all those NSW teachers who’ve made it to the end of what must have been the toughest, most nerve-wracking school term of their careers. You were fabulous. Have a great break. 😇
This must be the saddest story of the day. What have we done ? If this happens, future generations will never forgive us. https://t.co/gcSDVVWnbY via @smh
I live right next to a newly locked-down suburb in Melbourne. I have canceled all plans for my 50th birthday. I’ll lock down again if asked. Why? Cos when I left London in March, the UK had 140 deaths. They now have over 40,000. I’d rather be safe.
It was a pleasure meeting virtually with the Principal of Drummoyne Public School today. #PBL Coach Mentors are here to support schools with the ongoing implementation of PBL. No question is too big or too small. @yasmin_e_ibby@smitheesusan@Kellie_PBL@BrendanSexty@Kellie_PBL
That old question that gets me every time. “Can I check your bag?” At the checkout. Seems innocent enough but when the woman in front of me and the woman behind weren’t asked, I sighed. I was the only brown person in that line. I really hope I was just picked at random.
