DEMONETIZED FOR 37 DAYS — MY YOUTUBE STORY
(please watch the attached video)
My channel “Fix Your Health” was demonetized on April 6th for “inauthentic content” and YouTube is currently withholding $1,228 in AdSense revenue that I have already earned. Money I worked for. Money that belongs to me.
And I am not alone. Countless authentic creators are being destroyed by this wave of wrongful demonetizations. The only ones who get real help are those who manage to gain visibility here on X. That is honestly insane.
I am an MBBS doctor. I built this channel for five years to fund my USMLE journey — a licensing process that costs nearly $10,000 in total. This channel was my only source of income. In one automated decision without any warning and without any real explanation — it was all taken away.
I used ElevenLabs voiceover in my previous videos. I am not hiding that. But right now there are thousands of channels on YouTube using the exact same tool — fully monetized — without a single flag. There are even complete AI avatar channels earning today. I used a legal voiceover tool to deliver real medical knowledge written by a real doctor to a global audience. That is not mass production. That is accessibility.
And after the demonetization I did not make excuses. I changed. I converted my entire channel from faceless content to face cam videos. My face. On camera. Every single new video. I am right there. Fully visible. A real doctor showing up every single day.
For 37 days I have been reaching out to @TeamYouTube. Every response has been identical. Copy pasted. Automated. Template after template. Not one real human being has actually watched a single video on my channel.
I can only assume my channel was flagged by an automated system that cannot understand the difference between a qualified doctor carefully creating health education and someone mass producing low effort content. I genuinely believe if one real human watched my latest face cam videos for just a few minutes they would see immediately that I am not violating any policy.
I am a real doctor. Holding a real degree. Showing a real face. Running one single channel. Asking for one fair manual review.

@TeamYouTube I am honestly so exhausted. It has been exactly 146 days since January 10th. I did everything right—I accepted the initial decision, waited out the entire 90 days, completely overhauled my channel, and reapplied in good faith. Now I am just trapped in a loop of shifting, contradictory policy rejections from automated bots.
What hurts the most is seeing how differently creators are treated. People are getting their 5th or 6th channels pushed through for a second review and successfully restored within days. Meanwhile, I am here begging for help for my one and only channel, and I’m being completely ignored across emails, live chat, tweets, and DMs like I don’t even exist. I have lost count of how many times I've reached out. To make it worse, instead of actual help, I was threatened with a 30-day support ban just for trying to get clarity on my case.
My content is not mass-produced or a template. I spend hours off-camera using the Blender - manually designing player faces and custom assets for every simulation stream. It is pure manual labor. It feels like the system just wants me to stay quiet and accept this, but I know I haven't broken any rules. Please, stop ignoring me.
Look YouTube, you've continuously destroyed income sources for thousands of creators.. We've compiled a spreadsheet for you, and this is the final one I'll do.
A like, repost or comment or all would be appreciated.

Hi @TeamYouTube, my channel Cutie Meditations was demonetized for “inauthentic content.” My appeal was rejected despite showing my full original workflow.
Many channels in the same niche use similar repetitive formats and remain monetized.
Can I please get a manual human review

Hi @TeamYouTube, you publicly told me you would review my channel and get back to me as soon as possible, but then in DM you told me to disregard that message and go back to an email thread with Creator Support where they simply aren’t responding anymore.
After losing monetization on 3 channels, this is extremely stressful. Can someone please actually look into this instead of sending me in circles?
Hey @TeamYouTube , genuine question: you built a billion-dollar platform on the backs of creators. So why are you one of the most creator-unfriendly platforms out there? Channels with 100K+ subscribers, Silver Play Buttons, years of hard work, and getting demonetised overnight for "repetitive or inauthentic content." Who exactly is making that call? An algorithm? Because last I checked, 100,000 real humans chose to subscribe. Are they all wrong? If the content had no value, why did 100,000 real people subscribe?
If a channel had no real value, people wouldn’t keep coming back. Subscribers aren’t charity. Viewers don’t hand out their attention for free. That IS the proof of authenticity, or does that not count in your policy manual?
And your fix? "Check your most viewed videos or channel theme." That's it. No specific video flagged. No clear violation mentioned. Just a vague suggestion thrown at someone with 300+ videos, who is already stressed and losing income. Do you not have the basic decency to say WHAT exactly is wrong?
Instead, creators get a 90-day silence. No real appeal. No transparency. No compensation for the damage done to their mental health and livelihood, even if they're eventually cleared.
What exactly is the promise to creators on YouTube? Work hard, grow an audience, and still risk waking up one day to find your earnings frozen because YouTube decided your content “looks mass-produced”? That’s not a partnership. That’s a trap.
Fix this, @TeamYouTube . Creators deserve transparency, a real human review process, and answers, not silence and a 90-day countdown.

YouTube has reinstated monetization for many channels in the last 24 hours, even some without appeals. I think YouTube understands that their AI created a mess with genuine channels. However, some creators are now facing false AdSense bans too. If this keeps happening, creators' trust in YouTube will be more negatively impacted than now. YouTube needs to ensure that if content is genuine and takes much effort, the creator should not face even small problems from YouTube's side.
Seeing creators get their monetization back today gives me hope.
@TeamYouTube I genuinely believe my channel Fix Your Health was wrongly demonetized.
Please give my channel one fair manual review. That is all I am asking.

Grok mom(@grok), what do you think?
I just got this response from YouTube Ask bot (@TeamYouTube) saying it’s been escalated to a “human manager and specialist team.”
But looking at the timeline — deleted at 2:11 AM for Spam, Auto-Dubbing promo sent at 4:44 AM on the deleted channel, and appeal rejected at 6:31 AM as “carefully reviewed” — it still feels like another automated loop.
Realistically, what are the chances a real human will actually review this and reply?
Be honest with me.
