๐งตThread: Background Context About the Conflict in Palestine
Part 1: The โHistoricalโ Justification for the State of Israel
There have been many claims made about this conflict being Arabs trying to steal the rightful land of the Israelis/Jews, thus accusing them of being in the wrong. Today we will deal with these claims from the secular perspective to see how even from their claims, the Zionists are lying.
The biggest claim made is that the land of Palestine belongs to the Jews as they are the native inhabitants of the land, a claim usually defended by the Bible. However, within the Old Testament of the Bible, it is clear that other groups already lived in the land prior to the arrival of the Jews. We know that the Canaanite and Amorite peoples were the ones who lived in the land prior to the Jews, and in Joshua 5-6, it is made clear that the Canaanites and Amorites were removed.
The question that has to be asked now, does Palestine now belong to the Canaanites and Amorites?
Even though I could not determine whether Amorite DNA could be found in modern populations in the Middle East; the DNA of Canaanites exists in the following: Lebanese, Syrian, Jordanians, and most importantly: PALESTINIANS.
By the logic of using the Bible to claim the land as your own, should the land not belong to the Palestinians, as their blood is clearly more native to the land than the Israelis?
It is important to note that modern Jews also have a mix of DNA from many different sources, including the Canaanites. This shows that both Jews and Palestinians have a common ancestry native to the land, but most importantly that by blood Jews are mixed like their Palestinian counterparts. They are known to be closely related to one another, and that many Palestinians are likely the descendants of Jews who converted to Islam.
