In Romania, a Russian Shahed drone attacked a residential building in the city of Galați. Two people were injured.
The country’s Ministry of Defense confirmed that the drone was of Russian origin.
Nothing out of the unusual — it’s just Russia attacking a NATO country. Again.

Ironically, the #Moscow company allegedly coordinating sanctions evasion with a German firm was named “#Kolovrat.” In Russian usage, “kolovrat” is strongly associated with a swastika-style symbol widely used in ultranationalist and neo-Nazi circles. “Kolovrat” is also the name of one of Russia’s most notorious neo-Nazi bands from Moscow, glorifying the Russian Liberation Army (ROA), which fought for the Third Reich during WWII. A reminder: #Putin launched the full-scale invasion of Ukraine under the propaganda slogan of “denazification.”
FYI @POLITICOEurope
Pure evil.
The Russian military has officially released a video showing a drone attack using fiber-optic cables against the UN mission in Kherson.
The Russians are not hiding it, they are war criminals, and anyone who wants to strike a deal with them is an accomplice to these crimes.
President Volodymyr Zelensky’s former press secretary Iuliia Mendel gave an interview to Tucker Carlson, an American conservative political commentator.
In this video, the Kyiv Independent’s Nastia Kasinchuk breaks down all the false claims that Mendel said in her one-and-a-half hour long interview, including the mobilization law in Ukraine, the freedom of speech and her claims about Zelensky himself.
Russian federal TV channels are airing reports threatening a strike on the government quarter in #Kyiv and issuing threats against the foreign embassies of Latvia, Japan, and Armenia. However, they do not directly mention that the Embassy of #China is located just 400 meters from the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
A strike with the “Oreshnik” missile on this government quarter would, with a high degree of probability, cause indiscriminate destruction, including to the Chinese embassy.
It is time for #Beijing to “send regards” to Moscow.
#Cyber butthurt: How #Russian diplomats added #NAFO and InformNapalm to their “hacker list”
https://t.co/hvSQbZy3kS
On April 25, 2026, the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs distributed a statement from the Russian Embassy in #Norway with a commentary on cyber warfare for the Norwegian news outlet kode24. Russian diplomats issued a list of so-called “pro-Ukrainian hacker groups” that carried out attacks on Russian infrastructure in 2025...
This is categorically false. Not merely a stretch, but a straight-up lie.
Congress (not Biden alone) appropriated roughly $188 billion total for Ukraine-related support from 2022–2024. NOT $350 billion.
Of that, the bulk (~$110–130B in security/military categories) stayed right here in the U.S., paying American defense contractors & replenishing our own stockpiles.
Actual direct financial ("cash") support to Ukraine was roughly $31–38B. Those funds were tracked by the World Bank and were audited by firms like KPMG & Deloitte. We were not writing blank checks.
It's extremely frustrating to watch this President demonize an ally while downplaying Putin as the aggressor. This administration has ended new U.S. financial/military support for Ukraine (they can buy via the EU if needed). Combined with eased sanctions on Russia and the President's moral ambiguity on the war, it is just a complete betrayal that I will never, ever understand.
Polls show that the vast majority of Americans are very much clear eyed about this — we support Ukraine and we sympathize with Ukraine. Our President does not reflect that majority view.
Ukraine’s Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine has released new data today within the War&Sanctions project, unveiling an interactive 3D model, detailed breakdown of components, and the electronic component base of the new S-71K “Kover” (S-71K "Kover" cruise air missile), designed for deployment on Su-57 multirole fighters.

This publication provides a rare technical insight into the architecture of one of #Russia’s latest air-launched cruise missiles, including its internal systems and dependencies on specific electronic components - an area of growing scrutiny in the context of sanctions enforcement and supply chain tracking.
Against this backdrop, it is worth revisiting an earlier cyber intelligence investigation by InformNapalm. The study exposed classified documents from a Russian manufacturer involved in supplying components for both the Su-57 and the next-generation PAK DA Poslannik bomber program.

The archive remains highly relevant today, offering additional context on the technological ecosystem behind Russia’s advanced aviation platforms and highlighting vulnerabilities within their component supply chains - particularly under sustained international sanctions pressure.
You know, the conquest and enslavement of Ukraine -- with its natural and human resources, its geographic position in Europe, its brains, its access to the sea, and its extraordinarily rich breadbasket -- was in the 18th century one of the key factors that enabled tsarist Moscow to proclaim itself the Russian Empire.
Through control over Ukraine, it achieved unprecedented power and remained, in its various forms, a scourge of Europe right up to very 1991.
Today, looking at these photographs (and this is the Russian oil port of Tuapse burning again tonight) I find myself understanding clearly that the Russian Empire in many ways began with Ukraine, and it is Ukraine that will bury it.
And that will be the ultimate act of historical justice for all the centuries of enslavement, Holodomors, savage bloodshed, and isolation from the civilized world.
Iran’s missile accuracy didn’t just improve. It jumped from 3% to 27%. This isn’t evolution - it’s integration. Our analysis, based on open-source data and additional non-public findings, indicates #Iran is being plugged into Russia’s reconnaissance-strike complex, with SOF enabling targeting and coordination. #Russia isn’t just sharing intel. It’s exporting its warfare model.

Today marks the anniversary of InformNapalm’s English-language CYBINT investigation published on April 7, 2023.
It’s especially relevant now for those studying #Russia–#Iran cooperation in energy and LNG. In light of current developments in the Middle East, revisiting these archived documents offers important context and fresh insights.

#Orbán has long acted as #Putin’s loyal agent of influence inside the EU. Now the Kremlin is trying to keep him in power in Hungary. Their play is obvious: distract from Hungary’s domestic problems and redirect attention toward a hybrid attack on Ukraine. For context, here are two archived investigations:
