Much as we all hate being ghosted by editors, I prefer it to being shouted at. At 3 of my NYC jobs, editors indulged in it, and it was disgustingly unprofessional. Also REALLY triggering if you survived a family with a lot of verbal anger. Just never shout at anyone at work.
