I’ll remind you that Ashley St. Clair recently confirmed for us that the administration does get all these people in group chats and tells them exactly what to tweet
One of the largest corporate scams directly affecting everyday Americans is @Walmart’s overcharging for meat. It’s no longer packaged in store and comes directly from their centralized sorting facilities with the wrong prices on the label often by multiple pounds. They keep getting used for it and they keep doing it because they’re taking in far more than the penalties.
Megyn Kelly on the Iran War: “As this thing goes south, we need to know exactly who talked [President Trump] into it and what representations were made to convince the president that this was a good idea. Who? Who specifically? The names we know are Bibi Netanyahu first and foremost. Lindsey Graham, equally to blame. We know from the Wall Street Journal report that Mark Thiessen of Fox News and General Jack Keane were major advocates of the war. Ok, I like those guys, but they appear to have been very wrong that this was a good idea.”
“And we could keep going. Mark Levin, chief among them. He says now, ‘Oh, it wasn’t me.’ Every night, every night on Fox News out there urging the president to do this. And then he had a meeting with him in June, where we know, he denies it now, we know he pushed him for this.”
“Ben Shapiro was out on his show every day pushing this war. Like, there were very prominent activists on the right who were practically frothing at the mouth for this thing. And now that it’s not only going poorly, but the president’s poll numbers are in a precipitous freefall, we’d love to see some accountability. Who? Who promised him what?”
SCOOP: The Pentagon is preparing for weeks of ground operations in Iran, U.S. officials said, as thousands of American soldiers and Marines arrive in the Middle East for what could become a dangerous new phase of the war should President Donald Trump choose to escalate.
BEHIND THE CURTAIN: The Iran war is the 1st time Trump's style has made it impossible for him to easily talk/improvise his way out.
Some in his inner circle have what one official called "buyer's remorse" —growing fears that attacking Iran was a mistake. https://t.co/kysMgEVUJG
Here’s my takeaway from the State of the Union:
NPR reports that the DOJ has “withheld” documents that include allegations that Donald “sexually abused a minor.”
Who had the most contact with Jeffrey Epstein in the final decade of his life? In the years after Epstein pled guilty to soliciting sex from a minor, he maintained consistent contact with a vast network of rich and powerful figures. The Economist’s data team analysed 1.4m of Epstein’s emails to map their relationships: https://t.co/1NgbTxaWH5
