@memeticsisyphus The counterpoint is that republicans had to say Trump won the 2020 election.
Though I had a sense they all knew it was false, doing it purely for political gain. Trans activists seemed sincere
@Aella_Girl You’re confused because you aren’t considering two other outcomes, 3) 51% people pick red and you pick red and 4) 51% of people pick red and you pick blue.
3 is better than 4. Picking red means you are guaranteed to avoid the very worst outcome (your own death).
@xwanyex It’s irrational to try to vote based on what is good for the whole of humanity. It’s too difficult to know. Just vote based on what benefits you and let others do the same.
@WhitTucks This is a larger tax increase (9.9% vs. 4% on income over $1m). Bezos gone. Schulz gone. Starbucks opening offices in Nashville. Blue state populations in decline. Etc.
@RichardHanania Agree that red state policies are better, but isn’t this partly because their economies were smaller in the first place? E.g. China’s economic system isn’t better than the US’s just because it experienced double digit growth for several years.
@phl43@ZachG932 Israel would be better off today if it didn’t retaliate in the aftermath of Oct 7? Bold claim. It’s largely achieved all of its war aims. Not sure how Israel is better off with an emboldened Hamas, Hezbollah, Iran.
