Here’s a great and highly accurate short read about a fellow teammate of mine. It doesn’t matter what sport or activity you’re involved in, if you’re not “all in” you’ll never achieve greatness!
Anyone who is not in a fall sport and is interested in playing baseball this spring, there will be a call out meeting this Thursday after school in Coach Schoettle’s Room 406.
The weight room will be closed until the start of school on Thursday August 1st. If there are questions, contact Coach Bruno via email. @FTCSC@FCFlashes@FlashesATC
The weight room will be shutting down Wednesday afternoon to accommodate for FMS screening for our fall sport teams. Again, the room will be closed from 12pm - 6pm. @FCFlashes@FlashesATC@FCFlashesFB@FTCSC
THIS! It’s not fancy. It’s not complex. Basic strong, well executed movements! That is what builds a strong athlete. Be 100% bought into the program and be mindful of what’s fueling your body! @FlashesATC@FCFlashes@FCFlashesFB
Squat, push, press, row, hip hinge, Olympic lift. Sprint fast to be fast, do plyos, practice your sport, be coachable and a good teammate. If you do all that, sleep and eat real food then you won’t need gimmicks, gurus, or secret programs.
Maybe it’s just me but at the High School Level I see a lot of questions and people using advanced training methods. I’ve worked at four places and at each one there was few kids who could do correct pull ups/push ups. We hammered these before doing anything remotely advanced.
Every Franklin Central Athlete is GIVEN the same opportunity to succeed and get better, what you CHOOSE to do with that opportunity is purely up to you!
