To all of those people who are either new to buying Anime on physical media or perhaps are lapsed in buying it but want to get back into collecting in a big way, I say this: now IS the time.

If your finances allow you to do that then support great companies like Animeigo/Media OCD, Sentai Filmworks, Media Blasters, MVM and All The Anime/Anime Limited.

We need to keep competition for Sony/Crunchyroll alive, don't let them control the market and allow a potential situation where you can only buy from them in the future. What they're doing with Crunchyroll's exclusive disc products being paywalled to streaming membership tiers and them not stocking other companies "lesser selling" titles tells you all you need to know. They would love a monopoly similar to the situation with PlayStation and we absolutely must not let that happen. Unlikely though it might seem to some, the PS situation tells us that indifference and ignorance is a big factor.

Also because I've mentioned the PlayStation situation and soulless corporate zombies love defending them to the death (They can't help themselves)... just know you will be muted and or blocked if I don't feel you add anything to the conversation or are insulting for no good reason.

Remember, choice being taken away in any situation is NEVER a good thing.
