@AdeleBatesZ I recently completed my MSc dissertation on a similar topic. It’s so easy for teachers (myself included) to create negative assumptions and perceptions of children based on factors that are out of their control. It’s vital we reflect on this!

When I was in an induced coma, night after night nurses watched over me to see that I didn't need emergency attention. In the morning they wrote me a 'letter' which went into a 'Patient Diary' which they gave me when I came round. This is only worth 1%?

@AdeleBatesZ Keep a positive and empathetic attitude towards the child. The behaviour is the challenge, not the child. The moment you see the child as the issue and begin to see them negatively, the relationship will breakdown and progress will be harder to make.
