Restorative approaches teach our children that we do not impose consequences solely because we are in a position of authority. It teaches our children that we're less concerned with control & compliance, & more focused on connection & concern for others. #SEL#restorativejustice
We need to move beyond the rhetoric that change is difficult...we do a disservice when we continue to reinforce and perpetuate that belief. Change is not always difficult. It is not always scary...not changing is scary. Becoming irrelevant is scary. Thanks @casas_jimmy
