@gregisenberg Everytime I am on a (mundane) task that I don't like, I am thinking: "Could I develop a tool with AI that can solve this?" and in most cases it takes me less time to create that tool than to solve the task manually, but with 100% more fun. Best of all, it's reusable. 🏗️

Tried to find a free tool to create a very simple Gantt chart for a project timeline, without messing with Excel. Couldn't find anything useful, so I decided to vibe code:

Working with Replit to code, is very similar to working with real devs: If you ask it to fix one bug, it will just randomly re-introduce a bug that has been fixed days ago. 🤡

Still impressed that in just 2 hours I managed to create a note taking app from scratch. 👀

Suno is currently reinventing the music industry and most people are still not aware what's happening.

From my own experience dealing with record labels, I can't see how they will just accept the fact, that AI is now able to produce better music than most of their artists.

@ToshMatik @fiber7_ch @UPC_Switzerland @init7 You're probably right, but I got the "fastest" (only) router from Sunrise/UPC they had. Asked several times if there is anything they could do, to speed it up.

In any case, I didn't even switch because of the speed, but because of unjustified price increase and bad support.

I moved to the country side a few years ago, leaving behind my 10 gigabit fibre line and was stuck with crappy service from @UPC_Switzerland (Sunrise).

Finally made the switch to @init7 (Copper7) and could not be happier! 🙌

I don't have to deal with the horrible customer service from Sunrise anymore. I waited too long to make the switch. 😬

A lot of very smart people work in strange ways / with a lot of quirks (e.g. contemplating for hours and appearing to do nothing, while then suddenly having 100x output burst).

This usually makes them not a great fit for traditional corporate world, where you often have to fake being busy & work around fixed structures.

The great thing about small teams working in a flexible structure with high autonomy is that you get to witness these quirks manifest into greatness, time and time again.

Many genuinely productive people are misunderstood because their perceived methods many not ‘look’ like hard work from the outside.

Organizations that are able to attract these people at scale & are able to create a culture in which they can flourish, have immense potential for innovation / technological breakthroughs (think OpenAI, SpaceX, ...)

@illustriouspete Music is from Postmodern Jukebox, as is the singing. More details in the description of the video. 👍 I separated the vocal track and used an AI model of Freddie to modulate it, then edit and combine tracks again.

An experiment, hopefully encouraging others with more skills. 😆
